A Chippewa Lake shop that answers its own phone

Berwick Companies started the way most good trade outfits around here do: one electrician, one truck, and neighbors who kept passing his number along. Ted Philput still runs the business from Hunter Drive, a few minutes from the lake, and he still walks every job before a price goes on paper.

Northeast Ohio is hard on wiring. Frost pushes on buried feeders, lake air works on dock boxes, and plenty of farmhouses between Seville and Homerville were wired for a few lamps and a radio. We see it all, and we'd rather fix the cause than patch the symptom.

That's also why we don't sell packages. Every building has its own history, so every quote is written for that building alone, with the scope, materials and schedule spelled out before any work starts.

We stay small on purpose. When you call, you talk to the people who will actually be in your basement, barn or shop, not a call center two states away.
